SBKI Spain Budo Karate IntegralIn this didactic unit we will study a kata created by the author called Heian Shodan Hen Te.
This kata was created in preparation for the sixth dan exam of one of his pupils.
He was keen to incorporate and merge the hen te concept, which is very important in our art, with the structure of the kata Heian Shodan since this is a well-known and practised kata.
The aim is the successful development of this skill using a basic kata, like Heian Shodan.
Although this kata already has some sequences where this concept can be seen, it was decided to include it in each one of its steps so as to reinforce the idea, without wanting to give this concept greater importance than to other, but rather with the aim of having at our disposal a tool that will improve and then combine it with other concepts.
The result was a kata with 21 steps but 82 movements, which opens up new prospects for study.
The author has developed a comprehensive work system for this didactic unit in his Dojo.
